Notes: William Gee endowed the school with 80 pounds sterling and 20,000 bricks. The school operated in this building for 300 years. Note William's merchant's mark carved several times in the stone on the upper floor. The building is now the Hands-On History Museum.

    Status: Located. Built on the Market Square in 1583. Endowed by William Gee with 20,000 bricks and 80 pounds sterling. The building was used by the school until 1875. It is now the Hands-On History Museum.
